We want to take a minute to welcome Des Tackoors (#834) to the ‘R’ Shift. Des started with Scarborough in 1994 and served the SFD/TFS for 31 years.
It doesn’t happen often, but it seems we missed a significant announcement last August: John MacLachlan (#703) retired after 37 years of service with the SFD/TFS. Throughout his career, John played an active role in the Toronto Fire Fighters Association, where he represented the members and served as Vice President at the time of his retirement. Welcome to the ‘R’ Shift, John!
