Ray Green Funeral Notice

Raymond L. Green – 1939 – 2021

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of retired D/C Ray Green, seniority #279 and #174. Ray passed away at midnight on Wednesday January 6th. of a cardiac arrest due to Covid-19 in ICU (Arizona). He was 81 years old.

Ray initially started with Scarborough Fire on September 19th 1960, resigned and then returned on June 28th 1965. He retired as a District Chief in August 31 1996 with 31 years continuous service. Cremation is to take place.

Ray loved his golf and along with John Barker took on the annual Scarborough Fire Fighters Golf when Tom and Al were looking to pass the torch. He will be greatly missed by all his Scarborough Fire Fighters Local 626 members and Friends.

Our sincerest condolences go out to his wife Bev, their family and friends from all Scarborough Fire Fighters Retirees.
