Phil Redwood (#309)

After a lengthy hospital stay, the following good news was received from Phil’s daughter, Kerri.

Hi John,

It’s Phil and Yvonne’s daughter, Kerri, writing to you with good news!

D/C Phil Redwood – 1997

Phil is finally out of the hospital after a year of battling some respiratory health issues. Turns out he has COPD, and was admitted into Centenary Hospital a year ago. He was finally admitted into Westpark Respiratory Rehab and bounced back after we almost lost him and had a pretty scary ICU visit. He is doing amazing now, and working hard to gain back the weight he lost while in the hospital, learning how to cope with COPD, and working on building up his exercise regime which includes arm weights so he can build up his beer-drinking arm. The local fire department has offered to pick him up in the truck and do a tour of the new town he and Mum are living in!

If you can update your contacts, it would be appreciated as he has moved in with me in Carleton Place, Ontario, just outside of Ottawa, and can be reached at 253 Boyd Street, Carleton Place, Ontario, K7C0H4, and his phone number is 437-349-9946. Email address remains the same as above.

I’m not sure of the protocol, but if it makes sense, please share the update with the brothers to let them know their old district is back on his feet and doing great, and would love to hear from the guys if they’re so inclined.

Have a great day!
Kerri
