OMERS Passes Five Amendments

Back on June 23rd, we posted about the possible change(s) OMERS Sponsor Corporation was contemplating. The very next day they voted to make the following five changes.

  1. Extending leave purchase deadlines
  2. Reducing or eliminating the 36-month employment requirement for purchases of periods of reduced pay
  3. Permitting temporary layoffs as purchasable service
  4. Non-full-time expansion
  5. Shared Risk Indexing
