Lorne Ronald Phenix
June 26, 1938 — November 30, 2024

Lorne passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Saturday, November 30th at the age of 86 after a brief battle with cancer.

Dearly loved husband to Kathleen (Kay) for 62 years. Precious father of Elaine Osmond (Bernie), Kathy McFarlane (Stuart), Glenn (Sue) and Paul (Lorraine). Cherished grandfather of Chris, Justin, Nicole, Colin, Melanie, Allyson, Cameron and Jordan. Great grandfather of Atticus, Declan, Archer, Zara, Joni and Taya. Predeceased by his parents Lorne and Lillian (Smith), his sisters Rita (Bud) and Elva (Bill).

Lorne was extremely proud to say he was a fire fighter in Scarborough for 30 years, which exemplifies his personality of always doing whatever he could to help anyone who needed help. Honesty and integrity were just a few of the extraordinary attributes he possessed and lived his life by. Dad’s passions in life were the hunt camp, boating, fixing anything, and most of all his wife and family. His love for her was not just spoken but lived, an endearing testament to the bond they shared.

Lorne will be missed by his extended family and friends, of which he had many.

Thank you for a life well lived.

Be Happy.
