Please see the below notice. As per the notice if you have not participated in or successfully completed the Benefit Verification process you should contact the City of Toronto Benefits Department using this email – benefits@toronto.ca
The verification process applies to retirees whether they kept their former benefits or went with the Health Care Spending Account (HCSA).
One reason this may be of importance to you is that the current 3888 Contract language is under dispute; if it is resolved in the association’s favour then Health Care Spending Account (in the event of your death) will cover your dependant until you would have turned 75.
Please do your due diligence and decide what is best for you.
