Just when you think you’re getting everything wrapped up on your Christmas to-do list—cards sent, tree set up, and presents bought—Mother Nature decides to throw a snowstorm into the mix. It seems Santa’s elves are not only more organized but also somehow immune to the chaos of winter weather! Who knew I needed a snow shovel on my to-do list, too?
Our Scarborough Retired Firefighters Christmas Breakout Lunch is locked in for Thursday, December 11th at 11:30 a.m. at the Harp & Crown Pub in Pickering (Gates Plaza, Kingston & Altona Rds.).
As each year passes, there are fewer of us, and frankly, if we don’t keep meeting up, the stories about “the good old days” might start sounding suspiciously like fairy tales. Every familiar face makes the room brighter, and every new one adds to our story.
Let’s raise a glass to friendship, laughter, and another year of memories together. We had a great turnout last year, everyone is welcome, so we hope to see you all there!
