Bruce Brandon Prophet ~ September 17, 1932 – June 25, 2026
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of retired D/C Bruce Prophet, seniority #119, Scarborough Fire. Bruce passed away on June 25th in B.C., at the age of 93.

Our sincerest condolences go out to Randy, the Prophet family, and all friends from the Scarborough Retired Fire Fighters.
I want to inform you of my father’s passing to share with Scarborough Retired Fire Fighters.
Bruce Brandon Prophet: September 17, 1932 – June 25, 2026
Seniority #119 Bruce started with Scarborough Fire Dept. on March 11,1957 and retired as District Chief.
In British Columbia at Victoria General Hospital with his wife of 38 years Neyda by his side, passed away peacefully.
He will be missed by Neyda’s family in B.C.: Norly, Jake , Cathy and Ethan,
His children: Randy Prophet (retired captain #559), his wife Karen, Tracy Ward, Lori Prophet and Paul Prophet,
His 8 Grandchildren: Scott, Cory and Brock Prophet, Emily Phinney, John Ward, Vicky, John and Holly Prophet,
His 2 Great grandchildren: Kara and Kristina Phinney.
He had a long, healthy and fulfilling life.
