UPDATE – as of Dec 21st a COVID test is required for return to Canada from the USA even for trips of 72 hours or less. Please do your homework and make sure you are aware of all requirements and insurance coverage before you travel.
By now most have heard of the need to fill out documentation when returning from travel to the USA. This requirement also pertains to short-duration trips such as shopping. You can provide the necessary documentation by using the ARRIVE CAN App or going Online. It requires scanning and uploading an image of your Passport, and, you must upload a digital copy of your Ontario vaccination passport proving you are double vaccinated. Both of which are followed by a number of questions related to quartine ability.
If you do not do this, you will most likely be placed on a mandatory 14-day quarantine.
Good Luck – Safe Travels

All travellers, with limited exceptions, whether entering Canada by air, land, rail or marine vessel, must use ArriveCAN unless you’re exempt from this requirement due to an accessibility need.
You’ll need to submit your information within 72 hours before your arrival to Canada.
